Swordrose
This is one of those pieces created solely for the purpose of "looking cool." Not always a lofty endeavor but always a fun one!

Imagine the "Order of the Rose", a knightly order espousing the highest ideals of justice, courage, and mercy. There exploits were legendary for the most daring deeds of rescue and martial prowess to simple acts of kindness and generosity. Their reputation grew across the land until kings and emperors could not deny them for fear of the reprisals from an enraged peasantry.

A Golden Age flourished for a time under their watchful eye. But as with all legends, the shadow must always fall. The order began to believe they were above the land and people they served. Their protection became a dictatorship as one by one their virtues were overwhelmed by pride and arrogance.

The order fractioned and faded over the years... but you can still find the ancient stone blocks that marked their demesne.
