Our Mothers' Daughters - a Fort Collins-based musical group needed a CD layout for their first recording.

Each member presented childhood photos with their mothers as the central theme of the cover piece. Extensive reconstruction, retouching, and balancing was required after which each piece was evenly sepia toned. The addition of the corner covers on each photo gave the images a "photo album" quality.

The luxurious satin background was selected for its texture and hue, adding rich sophistication to the antiquity of the photos.
